Anodize
Anodize, Type II is an electrochemical conversion process that forms an oxide coating on aluminum. This process can be clear or dyed. Application uses can be for cosmetic or corrosion protection.
Hardcoat
Anodize, Type III is an electrochemical conversion coating, processed at a lower temperature to produce thicker, harder, abrasion resistant finish. This process can also be clear or dyed.
Passivation
Passivation is a cleaning process to remove free iron from the surface of stainless steel and creating a passive layer to enhance corrosion resistance.
